Quy Bui

CEO & Owner

Being with my family and creating memories with our two little boys has brought me so much joy and happiness which really gives me purpose in life. We enjoy boating, fishing, camping and really spending time outdoors.

As a young child, I have always been taught to be generous and be willing to help others. Waking up everyday and being able to do that for customers has really helped create our culture here at Exteriors Plus. We absolutely enjoy working with people, listening to their stories and watching their homes transform throughout the renovation process.

Providing information and educating our customers on the claim process is what we have a passion for. We stay ahead of the curve and understand the changing times in this industry by using the latest technology. We also want to give you the best customer service and experience when choosing us as your contractor. Communication is the key to a streamlined claim process!

Where are you from &/or what moved you to MN?:

– My family came to the US when I was 2 yrs. old. Bloomington is where I grew up majority of my life and now Lakeville is my home city.

What makes working for Exteriors Plus different from other places you’ve worked?:

– The work culture at Exteriors Plus is like no other: everyone is truly like family. Our team’s competitive nature drives and celebrates achievements for each other without negative competition.

Most interesting project you’ve yet to be a part of? or what do you love about your job?:

– This job can be very challenging but that’s what makes it interesting. I’m always learning something new and it’s also very rewarding to see the transformation of the project.

Where are you from &/or what moved you to MN?:

– Prior Lake, MN

What makes working for Exteriors Plus different from other places you’ve worked?:

– I worked for Exteriors Plus during my summers off from teaching. This year I choose to take a set back from teaching to be able to take time for my family and help support Exteriors Plus in production and organization. I enjoy getting a chance to work along side my husband, in which the entire team has now become a family.

Most interesting project you’ve yet to be a part of? or what do you love about your job?:

– A project that I have enjoyed the most is assisting in creating a stream lined process and getting an opportunity to learn all that goes into each individual home project. I love being behind the scenes and the small details to make each project beautiful.

Andrew Gervais

– I’ve been with Exteriors Plus 10+ years. Started as a part-time employee after graduating from St. Cloud State University and eventually made it my full-time career.

Where are you from &/or what moved you to MN?:

– I have lived in MN my whole life.

What makes working for Exteriors Plus different from other places you’ve worked?:

– I enjoy helping homeowners with their projects whether it be an insurance claim or retail job. Also having a solid team to work with everyday makes work even more enjoyable.

Most interesting project you’ve yet to be a part of? or what do you love about your job?:

– I love being a part of a solid team that always willing help each other out when needed to do what is right for our homeowners!

– When I’m not at work, you can find me throwing discs (frisbee golf) or fishing with some of the team.

Where are you from &/or what moved you to MN?:

– Born & Raised in Minnesota From Prior Lake.

What makes working for Exteriors Plus different from other places you’ve worked?:

– Working with exteriors plus the environment and people are all amazing has made getting up in the morning and coming to “work” nothing but joyful.

Most interesting project you’ve yet to be a part of? or what do you love about your job?:

– The best part about the industry or working with such a great company is that I get to help homeowners all over the state get their homes brought to pre storm conditions and really make the exterior of the project come together how they want.

Additional Comments?:

– I grew up in the construction industry with my family as a child, but I just recently got into the project managing aspect of it within the last couple of years. When I’m not working, I’m usually working on my own projects, or enjoying my time with my friends and family.

What makes working for Exteriors Plus different from other places you’ve worked?:

– For me working at Exteriors Plus is more than just work. I love the trust, energy, compassion and dedication everyone brings to the team it’s family.

Most interesting project you’ve yet to be a part of? or what do you love about your job?:

– I don’t have a favorite project!!! That’s the best part of our job l, no one project is the same! Every project comes with its unique final look, it’s own challenges to over come to make our customers vision Reality. We get to work with so many different customers and it’s always making us think in different ways.

– When I’m not helping customers at work, I spend my free time with my wife and three wonderful kids. We spend a lot of our free time outside fishing and hunting at our family cabin.

– I was born and raised here in MN.

What makes working for exteriors plus different from other places you’ve worked?:

– I love helping homeowners improve their homes. I enjoy working for Exteriors Plus because we have a great atmosphere and we’re family here.

Most interesting project you’ve yet to be a part of? or what do you love about your job?:

– My most interesting project would have to be a denied claim that I had. We had the whole team fight for the claim for a full roof, siding, gutters and some interior work as well.

– When I’m not working, I love being outdoors, camping, fishing, throwing discs, and spending time with my two kids.

– Born in Nashville, raised in Texas. Moved here when I was 20 and been here since.

What makes working for exteriors plus different from other places you’ve worked?:

– Working with Exteriors Plus has been life changing. Open new doors to grate opportunities. What I love about Exteriors Plus is the culture. We’re one big family!

– Every home and every homeowner is different and every experience will never be the same. Every job is interesting.

– I’m from Florida. My Kids and Lady brought me to Minnesota.

What makes working for Exteriors Plus different from other places you’ve worked?:

– The People and Culture within the company are the biggest differences in my opinion. We are a true team/Family here at Exteriors Plus. As an 11-year Vet in our industry who knows what it’s like when the culture and leadership is toxic, I’m extremely grateful to have found a home with a great owner/team to lead the way.

Most interesting project you’ve yet to be a part of? or what do you love about your job?:

– For me the biggest part of my Job that I love is helping people that are dealing with natural disasters and taking the stress off of dealing with the rebuilding process; assisting them through the claims process and seeing their gratitude once we’ve completed our project.

– I get to work with my Friends and Family. This makes us a tight group.

Most interesting project you’ve yet to be a part of? or what do you love about your job?:

– What I love about my job is the experience and knowledge I gain working for Exteriors Plus. The things I learn can then be used to educate homeowners on proper care/repair on their homes.

– I’m from Nha Trang, Vietnam. I came to Minnesota in 1989 after the Vietnam war.

What makes working for Exteriors Plus different from other places you’ve worked?:

– What I love most about working for Exteriors Plus are the people that I work with. Everyone is cool kind and very helpful and I considered them as family.

– The most interesting project I’ve yet to be a part of would be apartment, town home and commercial project.
